Do you have a loved one with a mental health diagnosis? You are not alone. The National Alliance of Mental Illness (NAMI) working with the One Lamb Initiative provides a research-based class for family members of those with mental health conditions in a non threatening, anonymous setting here at PRUMC at no charge.

The next class starts Sunday, January 11, concluding Sunday, March 1 on Sunday afternoons from  2-430PM.

In this class, you will learn about the various diagnoses, medications, and current treatment options, how the brain actually works, crisis management, support resources to help your loved one, effective communication, how to work with therapists and psychiatrists, self care for you, and much more. You will also meet others experiencing the same grief, frustration and loneliness as you are and will build lasting friendships. The format is a combination of lecture, discussion and problem solving.

This class is limited to 24 participants who will meet either on Zoom and in person.
