The National Alliance of Mental Illness (NAMI) working with the One Lamb Initiative provides a research-based class for family members of those with mental health conditions in a non threatening, anonymous setting here at PRUMC at no charge. Sundays 2-4:30pm, C106 & ZOOM. In this class you will learn about the various diagnoses, medications, and current treatment options, how the brain actually works, crisis management, support resources to help your loved one, effective communication, how to work with therapists and psychiatrists, self care for you, and much more.
